여행코스 : 부석사 – 소수서원 – 배론성지 가을이 가장 아름답다고 알려진 부석사를 찾아 유명한 부석사 은행나무길과 부석사의 가을 정취를 즐기는 여행이다. 그리고 우리나라 최초의 서원인 소수서원과 포근한 분위기의 배론성지까지 돌아보는 여행으로 거리는 조금 멀지만 가을 나들이로 손색이 없는 좋은 코스이다. 10월말이나 11월초가 이 여행의 적기다. 일정 07:00~10:30 서울 출발, 부석사 도착 10:30~12:00 부석사 돌아보기 12:00~12:20 소수서원으로 이동 12:20~13:10 점심식사 13:10~14:30 소수서원과 양반촌 돌아보기 14:30~16:00 배론성지로 이동 16:00~17:00 배론성지 돌아보기 17:00~19:30 서울로 이동 부석사 경북 영주의 부석사는 여행자들이 늘 꿈꾸는 멋진 사찰이다. 어느 계절에 가도 부석사의 단아한 기품은 살아 있지만, 보통 부석사 여행의 최적기로 가을을 꼽는다. 가을이 여행하기에 좋은 계절이기도 하지만 부석사 일주문을 지나 천왕문까지 이어지는 아늑한 은행나무 길이 가을에 가장 멋지기 때문이다. 이 길은 그리 길지도 않고 또 은행나무들이 그리 크거나 멋지지도 않다. 그러나 가을이면 이 길은 이런 정도의 분위기로도 아주 아늑하고 멋진 길로 변한다. 한 번이라도 가을에 이 길을 걸어본 사람은 절대 이 길을 잊지 못한다는 말이 있을 정도이다. 이 길 외에도 부석사의 큰 법당인 무량수전은 배흘림기둥으로도 유명하고 또 우리나라에서 가장 오래된 목조건물 중의 하나로도 유명하다. 이렇게 무량수전에 대해 온갖 의미가 부여되는 것은 실제 그 의미를 차치하고라도 건물 자체가 지닌 품격 때문이다. 실제로 무량수전은 일반인들이 보기에도 흠잡을 곳이 없는 거의 완벽한 구조라는 느낌을 받는 건물이다. 그리고 무량수전 앞에서 바라보는 산 능선 역시 놓칠 수 없는 아름다운 광경이다. 부석사가 있는 영주시 부석면으로 가려면 중앙고속도로 풍기I.C를 빠져나가야 한다. 영동고속도로를 타고 문막을 지나면 중앙고속도로와 만나는 만종분기점이...
