호갱의 군진(軍陳)은 길이 230m, 폭 62m, 총면적 14,260평방m로 3개 병마용갱 중에서 가장 크다. 갱내에 6000여점의 토용과 토마 40여승의 목조전차가 배치되었다.

병마용 갱(1호용 갱)

돔 구장 만한 병마용 갱은 1, 2, 3호 갱으로 구성되어 있고 현재도 발굴이 진행 중이다.

1974년 초봄 섬서성 임당현 서양촌(西楊村)의 우물 파던 한 농부에 의해 금세기 최대의 발견이 이루어졌다.

지방 순시 중 49세로 사망한 진시황이 사후 자신의 능묘를 지키기 위해 만들어 놓은 병마용 갱은 출전명령을 기다리는 2200년 전의 고대제국의 군대모습을 그대로 재현해 놓은 것이다.

박물관 전시실에 별도로 진열된 토용(土俑)중에서 태권도 하단막기 품세가 있다.

실물의 1/2 크기의 완벽한 청동 마차(두대 중 한대)

3000년전 고대 유물속에 놀랍게도 [한국의 전 대통령 노태우 기증 품]이라는 설명이 붙은 한국 철화 백자가 전시되어 있었다.

현재는 개방되지 않아 차창으로 밖에는 볼 수 없는 진시황 능묘

능의 기존 높이는 115m 였으나 비바람에 씻기고 무너져 현재는 76m. 기초는 동서 길이 345m, 남북 350m이다. 봉토를 둘러 싼 내.외성이 있으며 지금은 대부분 토락하였다.

화청지(華淸池)

당(唐)의 현종이 경국지색(傾國之色) 양귀비와 사랑에 빠졌던 흔적이 남아있는 곳으로 화청궁(華淸宮)이라 부르기도 하며, 서안 사변이 있었던 곳이기도 하다.
